Early the next morning, it was time for everyone to fly back home to the USA so they all get picked up by their usual bus at the hotel. Maddie is wide awake as is the majority of the group apart from Fifi and Alex. They both wear their sunglasses to hide their heavy tired eyes. The mood is lively and there is good banter amongst them all. They get their luggage checked in, had some breakfast and then boarded the plane.
When Fifi and Alex board the plane, they both fall asleep. It's about two hours into the flight when they eventually wake up, Fifi, a little disorientated but soon relaxed by seeing Maddie sitting next to her. She decides to go to the toilet so goes to look for it. Walking past Nick, he takes his glasses off and smiles at her. While in the toilet, she applies a little makeup. Then she goes to thank Kevin and Kristin for their help yesterday.
"We're happy to help, Fifi."
"Can I ask? Why the turn around?"
"We both saw how crazy Alex is about you and Kristin made me see how much you care, plus it was my way of making it up to you for how I've treated you where he's concerned."
"Aw okay, thank you."
Then Alex appears out of nowhere just as they were asking Fifi if she had a good evening last night, making her blush.
"It was... good."
She looks at Alex while she was saying that. Later, she decides she is hungry, again, gets up from her sear and finds a canon crew staff. She doesn't know that Alex is standing behind her, checking her out. Having got her food, she finds Maddie sitting with Harry and Nick whom she sits next to.
"You had this poor girl worrying about you through the night."
Fifi looks at Maddie and Harry, confused, then Nick interrupts...
"Why, what happened?"
"I woke up and she wasn't there but she was when I woke up this morning. I texted Harry before I went back to sleep through the night."
"Oh alright, but Fifi can look after herself."
"I went for a walk as I couldn't sleep. I was fine."
So Fifi sits there, eating and hoping they change the topic. She is grateful to Nick though for actually treating her like an adult that she is. They sit in silence while she eats.
"So where did you disappear to during the party?"
Poor Fifi felt like Maddie and Harry were interrogating her but deep down she knows they care.
"I went for a wander. It was a bit hot. Anyway, I'm gonna go to get a drink, anyone want one?"
They shook their heads 'no' and she walks away. She sees Alex sitting with Kevin, Kristin and Brian who are in middle of a conversation. They too were questioning his whereabouts during the party. He goes to the toilet. Brian leaves the Richardson's to go and catch up with Nick, Maddie and Harry. He hears them talking about Fifi doing her disappearing trick so rushes back to Kevin.
"Hey, guess what I just heard?"
"What Bri?"
"Apparently, Fifi left the party as well like AJ did. Something happened, I'm sure of it man!"
"Hmm... Well let's not say anything yet."
Everyone reluctantly agrees with Kevin as he says this. Fifi bumps into Alex and they sit down in a quiet area. She sumps down in the chair, yawning and sighing out loaf.
"You okay Fifi?"
"Yeah, just can't wait to get home now. I'm tired, constantly hungry and fed up of everyone asking me questions about last night! Wish I had some duct tape to shut them all, ha ha!!"
"Aww bless. They badgering you as we'll?!"
"Yup!"
He goes quiet and a smirk shows on his face, which makes her curious about what he's thinking...
"What you thinking?"
"I better not say. I'm a gentleman."
She scowls playfully at him, feeling certain that he's not always a gent.
"I wanna know, tell me!"
"Well... We could give them something to talk about?!"
He winks and immediately, displays a shocked look on his face to then she blushes.
"Hey, were you thinking the mile high club? Now missy, behave yourself!"
"What?!? I thought that was what you were thinking so what do you mean then, if not that?"
"We could hide out in the toilet, make them lot think and it'll give us some peace at last?!"
She then looks around to see if she can see any of the others but they're all still in the other part, chattering away.
"So... Come on, let's wind them up."
With that, she stood up nervously smiling at him, letting him take the lead. He makes sure she's in properly and closes the cubicle door, trying hard not to laugh. This was a first for Fifi, as happy she was to play along, the thought actually made her sweat and not in a good way. All Alex really wants to do is touch her all over her body and kiss her like there's no tomorrow, so he leans down to her to gently touch her lips with his own. Her soft, pouty lips feel divine against his own and he wishes he could be like this forever. The tight space makes him feel bold.
"Fifi, last night you looked amazing and today, you look so cute."
He starts kissing her again when there was sudden noise coming outside of the cubicle but they don't even notice. Outside, Brian and Maddie are curious as to where Fifi and Alex are, not seeing that the cubicle door has its 'engaged' sign showing. They go back to where everyone else is sitting and ask them if any of them have seen the missing pair. Maddie then goes back to where she had just been and hears a noise from the cubicle, realising its the toilet flushing, which alarms the pair inside of it. Fifi and Alex both stand there for a few moments, while deciding that she will leave first so he can have a pee while he is in there. She is surprised to see Maddie standing there waiting and tries to gather her thoughts quickly.
"Have you seen Alex?"
"Err, no why?"
"You both did a disappearing act, again."
"What's that supposed to mean, Maddie?"
Fifi is getting annoyed at all the fuss and interrogation she is facing,and is finding it hard to hide her frustration. Her voice raises ever so slightly...
"I can do what I want and go where I want, Mads. So can Alex! So what if we happened to 'disappear' at the same time."
By this point, Alex comes in from where the cabin crew area and stares in astonishment at the two girls, deciding enough is enough, he goes to stand between them and tries to calm them both down. They both quieten down.
"Ladies, this isn't like you two."
He do cent rates on Fifi's facial expression, seeing a tear trickle down her cheek...
"Look, I'm sorry Fifi, I didn't mean to make you feel like I'm on at you. I think it's great that you two are finally getting on, and it is funny if you look at it from my view."
Alex looks at Maddie, not expecting him to be the reason of this outburst between them....
"Maddie, we both know Fifi doesn't like all this fuss and I hope you can sort it out., then move on."
"Yes, me too. Sorry Maddie, I'm just tired and this long flight is making me anxious. Yeah I see what you mean by it being funny..."
"You were obviously occupied eg, haha!!"
Alex couldn't help but shot a cheeky wink at Fifi which Maddie saw...
"You were together, weren't you?! I won't say anything, I'm happy about it. Oh my god, I just thought... I'll see you back I'm there. Don't worry, I won't let on!!"
She sprints off leaving Alex and Fifi standing there, laughing. They didn't realise that Maddie had really gone to let everyone knw about what she had jut seen but made them all promise to not saying anything when the pair join them. Although she intentionally went to apologise to Kevin for having a row with him yesterday so she did that as well.
"Are you okay, we'll soon be in LA. I'm gonna go back in there."
"Okay Alex. Will see you in there."
Alex makes his way back to the others and Fifi goes for some more food. Unbeknown to her, Alex was telling everybody what had happened, giving it the big thumbs up. Then Fifi braves it by joining them all and finds a seat next to Maddie where Nick is on the end on the other side of the walkway. Conversation fills the plane, some listening to music and others playing on their games consoles. The rest of the flight passes by fairly quickly and the plane is not far from landing in LA. Everybody can tell that they're near LA as it's suddenly much warmer with the sun blazing through the little windows. As it's coming close to landing, they pack their belongings away ready for when they get off. Cabin crew instruct them to take their seats and strap up. Fifi is relieved knowing it won't be long until she gets off the plane.
