The girls are in full blown conversation as they sit down at the table, in the restaurant.
"So what did yi get up to today then Maddie?"
"We went for a picnic in one of Dallas's parks and chilled out, I really like Harry. We want to hang out, still, after the tour has finished cause we'd like to see how things go between us."
"Aww, I'm really pleased for to Mads, he obviously makes you happy and he's a lucky guy!!"
They decide to sit near the middle of the table leaving space for Nick, Alex, Q and Harry who haven't turned up yet. Everyone exchanges civilities with one another and as everybody is doing so, Fifi recognises the late arrivals making their way over towards the. First Harry sits down next to Maddie on the right side leaving Nick by Fifi and then opposite Harry is Q with Alex at the end opposite Nick. Nick embraces Fifi in a big hug before sitting down with Alex watching them like a hawk. Talking out earshot of Kevin, Nick lowers his voice so only Fifi can hear him...
"How's things babe?"
"Fine, thank you, Nick. Kevin briefly smiled at me when me and Maddie walked in here!"
"Darn it girl, good progress!"
Fifi couldn't hold her giggles when she hears him screeching that comment to her. They catch up by talking about what they've each been up to. Food is soon served and there's a few 'hmm', 'ahh' and 'yum' from various people as they tuck in. Several hours later, feeling full from dinner; people started departing up to their rooms. Fifi and Maddie made their minds up to watch a film before going to bed and somehow Nick and Alex were invited along. The two guys bring some munchies to share as the girls didn't have enough for the four of them. They all settled in watching slash horror movies although Maddie was hesitant at first until they talked her round. Somehow they all squeezed onto the sofa and laid out all the munchies on the coffee table in front of them. Alex dared them to turn out the lights which made Maddie get more scared.
During one scene in the film, one of the characters in it; suddenly got pounced on by a psycho killer and at the top of Maddie's voice, she shrieked out totall freaking out!! Nick and Fifi just pull faces at each other while Alex is howling at poor Maddie who's scared witless!! Still stifling from laughing so much, Alex seeing Maddie turn from her usual olive toned skin to a pale green colour, he feels he should say something to her...
"It won't get you Maddie, you've gone a funny colour!!"
"I told you's I hate these kind of films, but did you listen... No!! Pfft!"
"Fifi ain't scared, look."
"Yeah, whatever Nick. She can handle these better than me, she is a freak after all. I'm going for a pee!"
"Come on guys, stop teasing her. Even if it is funny."
Alex gets up to pour some more pop in his glass and as he stands up, Fifi falls into Nick and again, they start laughing. Maddie comes out of the bathroom with more colour in her face and plonks herself down back on the sofa.
"Hey, Nick mayb we should leave these two seeing as we've got a busy day ahead of us?!"
"Why, what have we got on tomorrow?"
"Duh! Douchebag, we've got a soundcheck party then a show but in the morning... We have to be err..."
Stuck trying to remember where it was that they have to be, thankfully Nick comes to the rescue.
"The children's ward?"
"Yah that's it!"
"Aww, that must be inspiring. Disabled kids are too cute and despite having whatever disability, they just carry om and face each day with courage and strength."
"Yep, but it can make you feel kinda sad though and guilty cause we're all in great health. Seeing their faces brighten up cause they're meeting us, really humbling isn't it Nicky?!"
"It sure is, rewarding. Just gotta nip to the bathroom first, so hang on edge."
"Yup okay Nick."
"I can't believe it's the last venue the day after tomorrw. Enjoying tour life too much!!"
Now Maddie sniffles loudly, blowing her nose and wiping her eye trying to stop herself from crying.
"Yup nor me! It'll be weird being back in our little apartment after all this time, and no room service. I am looking forward to my own bed, though!!"
"Ha ha ha!! What are you like, Fifi?!!"
"Maddie, she hasn't changed one bit, has she?!"
"Nope, although she ain't as bad as she was when we were kids."
Fifi just alternating looking at Alex and Maddie, depending on who's talking. She hates being talked about as if she isn't there and wishing Nick woud hurry up. Seems someone, whoever it is, is listening to her thoughts as Nick eventually appears from the bathroom.
"Ready to go? Thanks ladies for a fun evening,see ya tomorrw!"
"Night girls! Thank you for letting us hang out here, like he said, see you both tomorrow."
As they were going out of the door, they waved and nodded when the girls said their goodbyes. It isn't long before Fifi and Maddie are tucked up in their beds, chattering about girly stuff. Before Maddie even finishes her sentence, Fifi is fast asleep and sleeps right through the night.
