Climbing out of the taxi and grabbing their suitcases, Fifi and Maddie are heading to their check-in point. They are due to be there for eleven in the morning meaning they'll get to London around between seven and eight in the evening. Fifi is hoping to just snooze on the plane but will probably be too anxious and will try to keep herself busy. Maddie, however will spend the flight talking to Harry. Now all the luggage has been checked in, they go in search of everyone that they are supposed to be meeting but Fifi has to dash to the toilet. Eventually, when they come out of the toilets, they hear someone calling out to them and they try to see beyond all the different people. A familiar face peeks through the crowds walking towards them; it's Kevin and one of the security guys. When they get to the girls, they grab any bags and lead them to where the others are waiting.
"How are you girls?"
"We're good thanks, really excited. How about you Kev?"
Maddie taking charge in talking to him sending there's still a slight awkwardness between him and Fifi.
"I'm great thank you, how are you Fifi? You going to be alright on the plane?"
"I'm fine thanks, hopefully I will be. Don't want a repeat of the last time when I had a panic attack. It was embarrassing, especially in front of Maddie, Nick and Alex."
"Let us know if you need anything, this time we're on a smaller plane so you'll have more distractions, if you need them."
"Oh... Thanks. Is it more turbulent though?"
"Sometimes, but as there's things to do, you won't notice it as much. There we are, some of the guys are having a smoke ad then we'll be boarding. Make sure you both have everything you need, there's a confectionery shop over there and a pharmacy on the left."
He puts his hand on her shoulder, rubbing it hoping he's helping her relax. Fifi feels a little out of place as she wasn't used to him being so nice to her like this but grateful for his concern. She polites smiles showing her appreciation and she sees Alex in her sights... He has his back to her. Darn he's mighty fine but mentally, she's telling herself she's not fourteen anymore. The last thing she wants is to get too involved with him. It takes for Kevin to shout out to them to notice that he and the girls are coming towards them.
"Oi y'all!! Look who's here with me!!"
That made them all look round, and one by one they all in turn to greet the girls. Nick almost squished poor little Fifi, nearly knocking her flying by pouncing on her with his arms out to her! Alex gives her a big hug but she accidental lets it slip...
"Hmm!"
He chuckled when he heard her, making her blush once she realises that he's heard her...
"You smell good, that's what I meant."
"Thank you, all the women say that, ha ha!!"
Meanwhile Maddie was busy talking to Harry and Fifi goes over to them.
"Is there more of a selection on them little planes?"
"I'd go to that shop, hang on, I'll come. We ain't got long."
Leigh links her arm through Fifi's and they walk over. Fifi buys herself some pop, chocolate, other little snacks and a few magazines. Leigh grabs a few similar things and they each pay before joining up with the others. Together, they all go to board on the plane and under instruction; they strap themselves in, ready for the take-off. Once in the au and its safe to unbuckle the belts; Fifi goes to inspect what's to do and get her bearings on the plane. She could get used to this lifestyle or used to this plane. So much more comfortable and luxurious.
Everyone just chills out; talking, eating, playing computer games or sleeping. Maddie is sitting with the WAGS and busy chatting. Fifi sitting on her own; zoned out reading her magazines. She finds herself drawn to a particular article; Alex. It's talking about his rehab and troubles, she couldn't help but laugh at some of the pics of him. Upon hearing her aughing, Alex sat himself down opposite her trying to see what it was that was making her laugh.
"Having fun there?"
Startled, she quickly lifts her head up and surprised to see him sitting there, smiling at her. She closed the magazine.
"Oh just a silly article about some nineties boyband, my god they dressed awful! But then again, the fashion was terrible at the time."
"Oh aye, any boyband I know? We were pretty cool, if I remember, rightly?!"
"Ha yeah bet?! The worst, I'd say!"
She mutters not intending for him to hear but thankfully he can take a joke, even if it is at his own expense. He laughs back at her. They spend a bit of time chatting, well the basic chit-chat. Kevin comes over at some point, to see how she's doing with her flying anxiety. Watching the scene was Maddie, Harry and Nick. Maddie was in shock but really happy, she had a feeling that there will be a 'happy ever after' for Fifi like she dreamed off since they were little girls. For Nick, he truly hoped Fifi was okay and wants her to be happy even though he wished he could be the one to make her happy. He feels very protective over her and would cross the ocean and back for her but he knew that she didn't want to spoil what they have.
All the guys decide to join up teams to play against each other on the computer so they all sat round the big plasma television. In team one, there's Howie, Kevin,. Team two is Alex, Nick and Harry. Typically, team one had Leigh, Kristin and Leighanne to support their boys. Whilst Fifi, Maddie and whoever else was supporting team two.
The cabin crew serve drinks and food whenever they desired it, Fifi loves how lovely they are. They are so much more relaxed and chatty than on commercial flights. In between watching the guys compete, she checks out her Instagram and sneakily takes a picture and posts it with the caption...
'Boys will be boys!! Who ARE these big kids?! Ha!'
Maddie hears her gigging and Fifi mouths to her...
"Look on Instagram... Sshh"
Intrigued, she then signs into her account and looks at Fifi's picture when she bursts out laughing! Ten minutes later, Alex gets someone to take a picture of them all playing from in front of them and be too uploads it onto his account. Within seconds, fans were commenting and it didn't take much longer for them to find her picture. She asks Maddie how on earth did they finds hers, some fans were commenting wondering who she is but she doesn't reply this time.
The rest of the long flight goes smoothly but understandably everybody is tired. It is now late by the time the plane lands into London and although they are tired, they are wired up with restless energy.
