This is my first story, it is written about Fifi who comes face to face with a blast from the past. Will everything be as it was many years previously or will things come to surprise her?

The alarm clock rings as it strikes past 8am. Thankfully, Felicity has sorted her outfit for the day and her school bag so she quickly gets ready. Before she knows it, she's settling down in her seat in the classroom waiting for the lesson to start.
"Hey Monkee! How you doing?" Felicity turns to face Alex sitting behind her and holds her hand out to her boyfriend of one year who sweetly kisses it. This happens at the beginning of every first lesson of the school day.
Three hours later, surrounded by all their friends, Felicity and Alex are deciding on what film to watch later that evening. Going to the cinema every week was something they enjoyed doing as a couple. Felicity first met Alex when they both started at high school and straight away they were inseparable. With Felicity or Fifi as everyone tended to call her, being shy and highly intelligent, she matched Alex perfectly as he's more confident than she is and is sensible. Fifi loved his dark eyes and his romantic gestures towards her. Like Alex, she was dark haired but had big hazel eyes where he would gaze into for hours. They were both very slim and like to please people. They were both creative but in different ways; she was into fashion, creative writing and art where he liked dancing, art and performing arts.
As it was Alex's turn to choose the film, he picked Jurassic Park to which she found boring and she dozed off with his arm around her. He laughed to himself thinking how cute she looked so he just carried on watching the film. Anyhw she soon woke whn she heard him breaking wind, she tickled him to let him know that he woke her up. Whispering softly...
"Fifi, I guess you don't like the film then ha?! It's nearly finished and then I'll walk you home. By the way you looked cute!" With a wink to make her blush, she blushes and her heart skips, beating with butterflies in her stomach. Tonight was a calm and warm, starry night. Yawning; hand in hand, Fifi and Alex are only a few streets away from her house. He stops to face her as he begins to tell her some news that he's been anxious to tell her. "Fifi, next week I will be going to some audition at this guys house and I'm not sure how it will pan ouy; hopefully it will work out. I'm going with my mom and if it goes well, it could change my life. So yeah, I won't be at school and you won't miss me too much will you?!?"
Fifi's eyes beam with excitement for him but quickly it dawns on her that this big audition could change everything that has made her happy, so trying not to dampen the mood she wraps ger arms around Alex and tells him how proud of him she is so far. Before they know it, he kisses her on the forehead and watches her walk into her house. As she stands at her front door, she waves at him and then closes the door. He then walks round the corner and down the road to his own house where he lives with his mom and grandparents.A week later, while Alex is away at his audition, Fifi spends time with her best friend, Maddie and they have a girly sleepover. She loves Maddie, they've known each other since they were at middle school and have lots of fun together. Maddie is more of a socialite than Fifi is and knows what she wants. Although the girls are different, the differences compliment them very well. They spend the evening doing each others nails, practising doing the hair and makeup on the Girls World head, play with the Dreamphone game and eventuallu watch the Coneheads film. Then they have their midnight feast before falling asleep.
The next day, they go to the shopping centre and spend their pocket money they've saved up. Fifi will be buying the latest edition of Seventeen magazine for all the latest hair and makeup trends. She goes to find Maddie in the clothes shop. They head to McDonalds before making their way back home. The rest of the evening, they mess about creating their own fashion show modelling for their families.
Another few days later, Fifi is at school and missing Alex. Unexpectedly, she feels a pair of hands covering her eyes and straight away she knew who it was."Alex! You scared me!" As the couple played around, they realise they missed the school bell ringing so off they run to their class. After their morning classes, they meet back up. They talk about how his audition went and what she's been up to. Together they plan the next few weeks as he will be going back to the place where his audition was held.So a few months later after Alex has gone away again, Fifi misses him but just carries on with her life and looks forward to seeing him soon. The time passes with school, spending time with her friends and family.

Over the time, Alex has been home and gone again but they always had fun when they did see each other. They were so happy and loved each other. Like as they always did, they still went to the cinema, watching him in local talent shows and everything else they enjoyed doing. After what seemed a lifetime, Alex came back home and they planned to go bowling. At the end of the game, he sat her down and explained that he will be going away for some time as he was successful in the audition. Tears strolled down her young cheek as he went into detail about how he was going to be in a group with a handful of other boys, they will be working with this guy as they will be singing and performing. Wiping her tears, he told her that he will stay in touch by writing letters and meeting up every time be comes home. She felt happier once he wrapped his arms around her tiny body.
In one letter that he sent her, he wrote 'F&A togeter forever xx' believing every word he wrote, she pictured in her mind how they will graduate, get engaged and have babies together. This thought and image remained in her heart.

Several hours were spent playing games on Fifi's Nintendo with Maddie and their friend, Jasmine. She liked to play driving, fighting and simple puzzle games, depending on her mood. Her brother played against her sometimes but u like him, she wasn't the best of players, this helped to take her mind off Alex when she was missing him.

A month or more later, Alex had been away and she received letters from him to which she wrote back to. Then after a few months, she stopped hearing from him. There were no latter s, no phone calls and no seeing each other. She started to feel heartbroken. She felt let down by him as he promised that he will always stay in contact with her. Many a time, she found herself wondering where in the world he was ad hoped that he is happy. She missed him so much and no one knew what was happening with him. Anyway, Fifi made sure that no one will break her heart and make empty promises like he did to her. She was very grown up for fourteen years old.
