It was now mid-morning and Fifi is wandering round with a spring in her step and a smile on her face despite feeling anxious. Everyone apart from Kevin and Kristin didn't know why this cheery behaviour, they all speculate why but were too busy to find out the reason. The guys have numerous interviews all over London.
Now they have a photoshoot which needed Fifi and Maddie to prep, and style the guys. They had to style them in 1940s clothing with vehicles dating from the era and th backdrop of London during the time period. It is different to anything the guys have done before so they were really enjoying it. They got to play with various 1940s props, not only the vehicles but also war planes etcetera. Each guy gets to play a different role; Kevin as a shopkeeper, Howie as a soldier, Brian as a miner, Alex as a doctor and Nick dressed as a scientist. As much as Fifi is enjoying working on this shoot, she can't help but look at her phone to check the time. The gus have noticed her checking it a few times but just leave her to it.
Kevin comes over to her and said to her not to forget the time she's due at the little boutique as Kristin had arranged with them for her to go. Kristin had informed the boutique staff of her size and style to save some time, precious time to choose the dress, get her hair and makeup done. He told her there was a taxi waiting outside for her to take her to the boutique, and there will be one for her from there to the beauty salon and then back to the hotel. Being the kind guy Kevin is, he gave her an envelope of money to pay everything even though she refused to begin with. Fifi tries to hide her excitement by letting her anxiety show which in eloping masking the secret mission from everyone else. Once he finished talking to her, she runs straight out for the door without looking back. Maddie must have presumed she is upset as she tried to run after her but is too late by the time she gets outside. She goes back inside, walks over to where Kevin is standing and has her hands on her hips looking not pleased...
"Where's Fifi gone?"
"I don't know, why are you asking me?"
By now everyone is looking and wondering what's going on...
"You were the last person to talk to er, Kevin. She was fine before! Was she okay, you know anxious she gets and that's why I'm worried"
"I'm sure she'll be fine! Let her have some space, Maddie. Anyway, we're finished here so you coming with us?"
"Okay, I'll get my bag and coat. Be out in a minute. She better be okay Kevin."
Then the guys change back into their own clothes and leave to get on the bs that's waiting outside for them all. Maddie soon joins them and keeps her distance from Kevin, feeling annoyed with him. Se was confused and hope Fifi is alright.
Somewhere in London, Fifi is busy trying on beautiful dressed but one had caught her eye more than the others. She asks the lady who is helping her if she thought the dress was enough to leave an impact on someone and the lady agrees. The dress is a coral, backless dress with flesh revealing sections. It's classy and glamorous. Fifi isn't used to wearing such revealing dresses but feels beautiful standing, looking at her reflection. Even the other ladies in the shop look at her in amazement!
"I think the person who you're impressing will be speechless when they see you, miss. Would you like to wear this bra underneath it? It will push you up slightly but it will look natural and it's comfortable. It's backless and it has tiny straps that will hide perfectly under the straps on the dress."
She fumbles to find the price and is shocked at the price of both the dress and bra. Then she panics about not having matching bag and footwear but luckily, the lady comes to her rescue.
"Don't worry about the cet, miss. Mrs Richardson is an exclusive customer here so I can gift these shoes, bag and underwear to you with no charge. All the cost will be is towards the dress and jewellery and Mrs Richardson has said that is already taken care of."
Fifi feels uncomfortable at such a kind and generous gesture but after trying to offer to at with her own money, she reluctantly lets the lady just pay everything with the details given by Kristin. The lady takes a picture of her in the dress so she can show the pic to the salon stylists for them to know what to do with her. After exchanging hugs, the lady takes Fifi out to the taxi and waves her off. She arrives at the salon with her purchases and is greeted by a handful of stylists. Straight away they get to work starting with spray tanning her first. They only give her a mild spray as they can see how naturally pretty she is. While the tanning is drying, they work on her hair. Then they attend to her nails. In between all the pampering, they give her something to eat. The makeup artist starts and she is glad of being pampered.
Meanwhile, back at the hotel where everyone is having their dinner. Some ordering room service whilst others arranged to dine in one of the hotels restaurants. Maddie, Nick and Kevin each tried to ring Fifi on her mobile but every time, it went to voicemail. They give up in the end, thinking she obviously needed time to be by herself and whatever it was that caused her to leave in a hurry.
Back at the salon, Fifi has put on her dress with the help of the staff and they were working on the finishing touches. Also at the hotel, everyone has been getting ready for the party which has already started. There were officials from the UK branch of the record company who has organised the party and they wanted to celebrate the bands recent tour. One by one, the guys each turn up with ther date but Nick and Alex both don't have dates so happily went to it together. They were still worried about the whereabouts of Fifi as no one has still heard from her.
The party is now in full swing with a dj spinning the music decks and people are dancing. Everyone is mingling and champagne is flowing freely. Kevin looks at his watch whist standing at the bar wondering what time Fifi is supposed to be arriving, she should already be here by now. He tries to seize the attention of his wife who is sitting with Leigh and Leighanne. She eventually looks over to him and sensing his stressing, she mouths 'not to worry" to him. Back at the bar, next to Kevin is Alex who someone looked out of sorts and lonely so he offers to get him a bottle of fizzy pop. Nick is chatting to some girl and shaking his butt on the dance floor. Howie and Brian are talking to some music officials.
