As Fifi lies there in bed, the thoughts are plagued by what happened with her and Alex. She doesn't really know how to feel; a part of her is excited as she's just kissed the man she has always thought about but her heart doesn't seem to settle like she expected to. Sitting up and throwing the covers off her in bed; she goes to look out of the window. Grabbing her jacket, Fifi leaves the room and makes her way downstairs. There's a cafe down the street and decides to wander on to it. It's even colder now than it was before so she pulls the jacket tight round herself.
From the outside, the cafe looks a little dated and needed some work to it but as she walks in through the door, it too was shabby. At the counter, she orders herself some fresh orange juice and as instructed; goes to sit down. The waitress brings her drink over and then disappears back to the counter; talking to some customers that look like they might be regulars. Fifi is browsing through her pictures on her phone so she doesn't notice when somebody sits down in front of her...
"Hey! What are you doing here?" She looks up and is shocked to see Alex sitting there, smiling away to himself.
"Oh hi. I couldn't sleep, what about you?"
"The same. Plus, it's nice to get some air and time on my own."
Alex could tell she was thinking about something or someone. "Anything in particular?"
Certain he is right in thinking he knows what she is thinking, he winks at her and puts his hand on top of hers. He could feel the clamminess and wonders if it's him that is causing this reaction. Thinking to himself; if she knew what the effect she does to him, she would probably run away.
"Have you been here before?"
"To this Cade? Yeah, it's nice to just escape from the hotel sometimes without anyone and have a little normality. Yourself?"
"Nope, never. First time in this country. Always wanted to come to the UL though and want to come back again, properly for a vacation, y'know what I mean..."
"Oh yeah. You don't get to visit places like you would normally but we are working."
"That must suck though! Do you want a drink or something?"
"Yeah, I'll go and have a look. Be back in a sec."
Fifi watched him get up and walk over to the counter. Laughs to herself at how he can charm anyone even if it is just for a drink, and she checks him out while he'd got his back to her. He's wearing a pair of sweatpants and she thinks he looks good in them. Once he's ordered what he wants, he struts his way back to the table, making her giggle and he does a spin.
"I should have filmed that and then you can post it online, ha ha! You nutter."
"Damn it! Why didn't I think of that?! But that was exclusive, something not for the fans this time."
"Exclusive huh, lucky me!" "Damn right!"
She continues to laugh until the waitress brings Alex's drink. Then they both fall silent and sipping their drinke.
"My mom wants to meet up with your parents sometime when we get back to the USA, if they're up for it?"
"Oh really, aww your mom is sweet. I'm sure they'd like that. Remind me to give you their number to give to your mom."
Meanwhile back at the hotel, Maddie wakes up needing the toilet and notices Fifi isn't there. She wonders where she is but instead, she climbs back into bed. She sends a text message to Harry asking him to look out for Fifi when he gets up in the morning. Then she falls back to sleep.
Back at the cafe, both Fifi and Alex are sitting, yawning and start to think about heading back to the hotel. They finish their drinke and get up to leave. Once inside, he leans in to give her a kiss and places his arm around her. They hear a sudden bout of thunder and decide to make a run for it, he holds her hand as they run along. Luckily, it doesn't take long for them to get back and so they're not too wet. He walks her to her room and again, kisses her. Within moments, they're both in their beds, fast asleep.
